Sitemaps are an important aspect of search engine optimisation (SEO), and are often forgotten at the end of a website project. Whilst technically, an individual can get away with submitting just a site URL to a search engine, it does not guarantee that all the information that is needed to be indexed will be. It is important to be selective with the information that is supplied to maximise the chances of a better search ranking.

That is where our new SEO tool allGoogleXMLNewsmap comes in. It is used for specifically targeting the news or blog section of a website (any section that has a high turnover of information). By installing and submitting this specific type of sitemap, users can expect that Google will index the selected pages selected faster and with higher prominence as they would be considered as more recent.

allGoogleXMLNewsmap can work independently, but we recommend that it is installed alongside our other recently launched SEO extension allGoogleXMLSitemap to increase the amount of available information for Google to index. By having these two extensions, an individual can hope to be noticed and have all of their important pages indexed by Google quickly and efficiently. allGoogleXMLNewsmap and allGoogleXMLSitemap works in conjunction with Google through their Web Master Tools, found at: http://www.google.com/webmasters/.  Through this free tool, a site administrator can check what key words are strong, upload/link sitemaps and track external links sending traffic to their website.
