One of the prerequisites to growing plants seems to be just adding water. Whilst sunlight, nutrients, climate and other things also have an impact on growth, to me water is one of the key factors. It is also a very useful metaphor for this topic.

As a new community we need to make sure that there are enough satisfactory requisites for growing. We recognise that there are several things that are important like advertising, value for money, and reputation. The primary item that we want you to consider helping with is to "just add water". The water we are talking about here is really meant to be describing what we see as this community helping itself and helping each other. A forum that has users focussed on helping each other creates a culture that allows users of all technical capability to be nurtured and grow.

Whilst we haven't yet decided upon how we can best reward those who are active here, our intention is to make it very beneficial. We are considering several means to do this. Options currently range from free or extended memberships, allowing access to extensions not purchased, even having beta testers. Like all things, we would love to hear from you about this. We are sure that you can come up with some ideas that will not only help you, but also help us and help to make this forum one of the most useful available.
